Week Reflection

This week we had been working on our tie-dye t-shirts, most of us were finished dying the shirts so we decided to screen print on them. First we decided on a design and Mr wood showed us how to properly cut it out and neatly screen print it. It took me awhile to figure out  how to cut it without all the paper ripping but i used perseverance and hard work and got it cut out. I experienced success and pride when i seen it all finished i hope i can buy it.

B.M.I

Today we worked on a big maths investigation about Armenian rugs we had to draw rectangles but all of the corners had to be touching a peg but a rectangle cant be touching another rectangle. This was my solution I thought this problem was fairly easy but i cant wait to try a harder problem! : ) : ) : )

Term 2 reflection!

Term 2 2016 has been filled with heaps of awesome activities and has been lots of fun. For art I am currently working on a 3 colored ink portrait of me and my friends, I experienced great pride with this project and I cant wait to finish it. We have also been reading a book called the knife of never letting go, I think the class is really getting excited about this book and we cant wait to hear the end. Once the book is finished I would love to read the sequel the ask and the answer. For maths this term we have been independently learning on maths buddy I have failed at pie charts but have been extremely successful with addition of different denominators. Speeches were this term and I think mine was a success I did it on extreme survival and I enjoyed presenting it. Overall I have had an absolutely awesome term and cant wait for term 3.

My DLO - Con Artists

HIDE AND SEEK

‘’1,
   2,
      3’’
        I echo through trees
dazzled by spiders nesting in their falling arms.
I strain to hear the wind guiding my way
almost as though a guardian watching down on me like a hawk
        stalking prey.
      ‘’Crunch’’ goes over cooked leaves
from afar I follow the sound
running running …  then it stops…
eyes piercing my head like bullets.
        The chase starts again
I hear shrieks coming from the forest above but its so weak.
        ‘’I found you’’ I say.
We break into laughter and It starts again.

        ‘’Where are you?’’
