Affects On Other People

my participation can affect other peoples well being because of our attitude can rub of other peoples emotional or physical well being. Positive or negative it ripples throughout the class. and our sports team. If we are over worked in our physical activity we could become stressed and take it out on other people which leaves a negative affect on everyone.

How Does My Level Of Participation Impact My Well-being

My level of participation is affected when i play my sports because mentally I am kept busy by doing activities and learning strategies. I am also physically impacted because my body is being put on the line to achieve my goals. I also think the coach and people have an affect on us because they can communicate with us badly. the sports that i like affect my well being positively,because i enjoy playing it, using strategies or skills, that can affect me positively, enjoyment meant of training and the importance of  attending to be better.

Common Wealth Games

The Common Wealth Games 2018 are going great for New Zealand. The games are being held on the gold coast of Australia. We are currently coming 6th with a total of 31 medals, 10 gold, 12 silver and 9 bronze. Australia is in 1st place with 158 medals in total. There are 23 sports in the games these include wrestling, triathlon, weightlifting, table tennis, swimming, squash, shooting, rugby sevens, para lifting , netball. lawn bowls, hockey, gymnastics rhythmic, gymnastics artistic, diving, cycling track, cycling road, cycling mountain bike, boxing, beach volley ball, basketball, badminton and athletics. My personal favourite is netball.

New Zealand has been struggling with netball. They have had two loses and two wins, one loss against Malawi 57- 53 and another against England 45 - 54. The loss against Malawi came as a shook to bot teams particularly new Zealand. Some people where calling it a "wake up call". For a very long time it has been new Zealand vs Australia in the finals with England and Jamaica in the finals. The coach said the ferns lost focus as they were up by 7 at halftime then were down by eight in the third quarter. The ferns were rolling subs but this seemed to make the situation worse. Since then they have picked up their game and have gone on to make it into the semi finals on Saturday the 14th.

Evaluating Game Platforms 2

Gamefroot vs Gamestar

Gamefroot is a platform based on java which allows you to drag and drop grass terrains, spikes, moving tiles etc. Gamestar mechanics is also a drag and drop platform but is much simpler to use and does not have as much equipment to change. I personally enjoy Gamefroot because there are more options and challenges your thinking. I like the graphics on Gamefroot better as well because they are more realistic.

WALT: Evaluating Game Platforms

I am evaluating Game platforms. Our first trailer we watched was the game Journey and it was for PS4. The music in this trailer was building up which left me to believe there were many twists and turns in this game. The graphics were high quality but I felt like they didn't give you an accurate view of what playing it was really life. The game looked as tho it was a first person where you could choose whether or not you wanted to do instead of just following a script. This game will not be for everyone because some people prefer more action or violence, and this game looks like a puzzle game.

 The next game I am evaluating is Never alone also on PS4. This game is at industrialist level so the graphics and story are very well thought out. This game has more actin in it compared to the last. The music builds up the story and as you get further along and the game becomes much more intense. It is very engaging game which was made by troubled high school students not going to school, doing drugs and not getting anywhere in life. This gamer opened up career paths and took over 2 years to complete. The game won many awards such as INDIES OF E3 favorite gamesbeat,2014 also OFFICIAL SELECTION INDIECADE,2014 and many more.

Error Control

Our task was to further our knowledge about how a computer works. We started off by putting ourselves into groups then making a 7x7 grid out of small black and white cards. We then had to correct our mistakes by making sure all the blacks were even and all the whites were even, we did this by adding another row to the top and the side. Once we finished doing that we took turns in our group turning around, then another person changing one card and we had to figure out what the error was. After we did this we went online and played a short game where we did the exact same thing but individually. I enjoyed doing this task because it helped me understand the principals of Parity cards. 

Services

Yesterday we decided on the colours for our art trolley then started to paint them on. Today we are going to be continuing painting the shelves and hopefully get the nearly done.
